GET INVOLVED





You can volunteer with The Spring Community Development Initiative in various ways. The Spring Development Initiative accepts all volunteers 16 years and above living in our program areas who will benefit from online training modules, including in-person workshops and seminars. Volunteers shall not be discriminated against based on gender or ethnicity. You can apply to become a member, peer or an ambassador for specific projects/programs dedicated to community building.

Mentors - The goal of the mentoring program is to provide an opportunity for volunteers to mentor our African and US-based participants. Types of mentoring include one-on-one, team and group e-mentoring. Members - Members will become integral constituents of our organization and contribute suggestions to the leaders of the organization. Paid-up Members will receive branded referrals and introduction letters and a member price for events, including for annual conferences, summits, retreats, etc. Members will work with other volunteers to develop or expand new and existing projects. Ambassadors - High profile personalities or well-connected members of a local or global community can assist TSDI with activities to increase our reach and impact. Ambassadors can choose to work with specific TSDI projects or across programs. Ambassadors can participate in online promotion of our activities and appropriate outreach and support our fundraising - host or perform at our events, wear our brands, etc. Read more on how to BECOME AN AMBASSADOR or Apply here.

Fellows - The TSDI Fellowship Program aims to develop positive one-on-one relationships between US based volunteers between the ages of 21 and 29 years and international community leaders through affiliates. The program will match participants based on shared interests, qualifications, and experience, leveraging structured tools and easily accessible training and resources. Interns - We accept all volunteers 16 years and above living in our program areas who will benefit from online training modules, including in-person workshops and seminars. Volunteers will perform various tasks, including online promotion of our programs and activities. Interns support TSDI in expanding our partnerships by identifying and cultivating community members in their local or focus area. Read more on how to BECOME AN INTERN or Apply here.

Affiliate Organizations - TSDI is actively seeking new affiliate organizations with aligned goals to help expand our programs. We would love to partner with US-based organizations or those in developing countries to bring our life-changing resources and program opportunities to their staff and participants! This opportunity is open to schools, faith-based and community-based organizations as well as small businesses. If interested, please email info@sid-initiative.org
